Umicore uses PowerPoint presentations as an important and frequent medium through which we communicate with our customers and employees. As such, presentations should be professional in appearance and content. Regardless of author or subject matter, all presentations should have the look & feel and positive values of our Umicore brand.
PowerPoint templates
For our internal colleagues, Umicore templates and slide libraries are available and integrated within Microsoft PowerPoint through its template tool. To find out more, visit the Connect Tool Page on Umicore’s Digital Workplace. The templates offer a pre-set with the basic elements of our brand: logo, color palette, typography, graphic devices, icons, and a direct link to our Brand Assets Bank. Furthermore, you will find Basic Slides in the Slide Library of the template tool.

Follow the templates. They have been created with specific formats and lay-outs, including:
- Title/subtitle slides and dividers
- Typeface and font size are pre-set, and body copy is right-aligned
- The inner slides, which can be filled (sparingly) with text, are left-aligned
- The mandatory typeface for PowerPoint presentations is Arial
- Do not change the color setting
- The first slides should incorporate the baseline version of the Logo, while all subsequent slides should utilize the Logo without the baseline
- The closing slide should contain the handwritten baseline

Please consider the following rules when creating your presentations:
- Use photography and icons from our Brand Assets Bank
- The main colors for PowerPoint presentations are Umicore blue and green, but you can use colors from the secondary and tertiary color palette for graphs and charts to help tell your story and illustrate the key points you wish to convey
- Space the content of your presentation among more slides, rather than fewer slides, to allow your presentation to breathe aesthetically
For subcontractors or agencies, a PowerPoint template is available within our Brand Assets Bank.
