Tertiary spot colors

Lastly, there is a collection of six, specified spot colors that can be used in a very limited manner as an accent of colour relief from the possible monotony of too many primary and secondary colors, in slide presentations, for example.

Tertiary spot colors cannot, under any circumstances, be used as a primary or secondary color.

Web application

The colors used for web are adopted from the main Umicore brand colors with an exception for the primary blue. The palette is also more limited for accessibility reasons and to ensure a minimal, consistent look & feel. More information here.

Gradient color effect

Our gradient is a flexible visual element that is used to highlight certain elements and content. Gradients add depth and vibrancy to our designs. Some examples on how to use them:

  • Colored Headlines
  • Inside folder page
  • At trade shows & events
  • For Signage elements
Folder with gradient on the INNER page
Power Point Cover Slide (Headline)
Front cover of a brochure
Guiding Posts

Do not

Do not use the gradient color effect as full-color background for brochures, roll-ups, posters or divider slides.

Always set the gradient at 45 degree, starting from the lower-left corner towards the upper-right corner.

5-color gradient

The 5-colour gradient is intended to be applied to the assets developed for a large-format print (e.g. banners, posters), as being composed of a larger amount of nuanced colors it provides better quality and a more vibrant effect on large-format supports.

The gradient can be used in different opacity versions:

  • #153B7D
    Pantone 280C | RAL 5013
