The news spotlight is our most prominent way of displaying a set of news items. It has room for 3 articles in total, of which one large hero item and two smaller ones. The system automatically uses the image of the hero item as a blurred background for the entire component. So please take this in consideration while using this component as a not so great hero image will result in a less appealing result.
When setting up this component, the following settings are available:
- Most recent articles
- Articles based on tag(s) allowing to show only stories around a certain topic or a specific type
- Manually selected articles
Article selection
Keep in mind that the system will automatically update the items that are displayed in the component. In case full controll is needed (homepage and other key pages) it is recommend of using the manual selection and updating the articles when relevant.
