Poster

Posters are a one-page execution and should align with the Group's brand and identity. Keep the material simple. It should be self-explanatory. Always ensure that the content should look and feel professional. Therefore, avoid blurred and pixelated images.

You may find through our brand asset bank the technical specifications and a basic InDesign File

Use of elements

Posters should always use the Umicore logo featuring the handwritten strapline ‘materials for a better life’. The position and size of the logo, as well as the graphic devices should follow the guidelines in place.

  • Blank space is important for layout
  • Use imagery that aligns with Umicore’s brand
  • Umicore icons can be a good way to illustrate the message

Use of fonts

  • For headlines and subheadlines the font should be Dax Light. It can be left or right aligned
  • All other text and information can be left aligned or justified and if necessary split into 2 or 3 columns, and the font should also be Dax
  • No underlined text should be used, but the use of bold face or italics is allowed for emphasis
  • Your poster should be readable so use a font size that is large enough taking into account lay-out and color — at the very least 18 pt for the text and a larger font for subheadings
  • Font sizes should be defined per position (no more than 3 or 4). The largest font should be reserved for headings

Use of colors

  • The primary and secondary green and blue color palette should always be given priority as one of the main elements of the brand's identity
  • Choose background and foreground colors that are contrasting and complement each other
  • Make sure you use colors that are clear and legible
  • We advise to use Pantone 369 C or a darker shade of green for background with white text for legibility
  • The white Umicore logo may be used, especially on the Umicore radiance, but we do not encourage the use of the green radiance as a full cover page design

Internal poster template

If you are creating an internal poster, use the poster template that is available within PowerPoint through our template tool. For these, Arial is the substitute font.
