Roll-ups

Roll-ups are often used to represent Umicore and are easy to transport. They should align with the Group's brand and identity.

Keep the material simple. It should be clear, readable and self-explanatory so it can be used as a stand-alone.

Roll-ups technical specifications

Use of elements

Roll-ups should always use the Umicore logo featuring the handwritten strapline ‘materials for a better life'. The position and size of the logo, as well as the graphic device should follow the guidelines in place.

  • Blank space is important for layout
  • Use imagery that aligns with Umicore’s brand and follow the photography guidelines
  • Umicore icons can be a good way to illustrate the message
  • Position key information in the upper two-thirds of the roll-up, as the lower third will be less visible or go unnoticed
  • End the roll-up with the website information or a QR Code
  • Take into account the brochures layout grid if placing text

Use of fonts

  • Headlines and sub headlines should be right aligned and the font should be Dax Light
  • All other text and information can be left aligned or justified and if necessary split into 2 columns, and the font should also be Dax
  • No underlined text should be used, but the use of bold face or italics is allowed for emphasis
  • Your roll-up should be readable so use a font size that is large enough taking care when choosing the position and color
  • Font sizes should be defined per position (no more than 2 or 3). The largest font should be reserved for headings

Use of colors

  • The green and blue color palette should always be given priority as one of main elements of the brand's identity
  • Choose background and foreground colors that are contrasting and complement each other
  • Make sure you use colors that are clear and legible
  • We advise to use Pantone 369 C or a darker shade of green for background with white text for legibility
  • The white Umicore logo may be used, especially on the Umicore green radiance but we do not encourage the use of the green radiance as a full cover page design
